Overactive bladder (OAB) is a syndrome characterized by urinary urgency with an increase in urinary frequency and
nocturia, with or without incontinence, in the absence of urinary tract infection or any other apparent pathology.

OAB affects 16.5% of the world population and is associated with high economic costs and social repercussions that have a negative impact on patient quality of life.
